Peace
lf I were a poet, a thinker,
I would describe the way.
Better still, as a statesman
I would do it, it's never too late.
Because to talk of peace like everyone else
leaves me no peace for myself!!
To do something for peace, come what may,
should be the motto anyway.
The little man knows dispute, knows disagreement,
still he doesn't go out and kill en masse.
But statesmen are often ready and willing
without much care for what comes to pass.
To get their way
THEY threaten with atoms
to decimate in hundreds of thousands
for THEM alone - what's the difference - ??
And rebels too, as we have seen,
see death as no taboo.
Murdering horribly, forgetting themselves
even with brothers/sisters, they're ice-cold too.
Unfortunately, - the little people -
with no idea, without a clue,
you, your partner, neighbor, - the spoils -.
An inferno engulfing all of you.
Think of your women, children,
the meek and the suffering.
Pursue the filthy war criminals
for whom human life counts for nothing.
Better to condemn one - anyone - ,
who cries out the call of war.
This will preserve so much life,
regardless of who the honors adorn.
The Bible (Koran), our Holy Book,
pleads only peace as its greatest call.
But what we accomplish is war,
the greatest curse for one and all.
To decide who lives and dies
is not the human role to play.
This alone is reserved for God,
who does it in His own way.
Keep the peace, I cry out to you!
Embrace and be friends.
Think for your children's sake,
have divine mercy for THEM!!
